More information is needed about these interest paying cashier certificates (Kassen-Schein). Why did I never see one with serial number other than all zeros? Or one filled out?
I did not find any information about them in banknote catalogs, although they could have been accepted in lieu of cash at face value since according to the text on front: "...state cashier pays the person presenting....", thus anyone presenting the certificate was paid the face value including possible interest. Text on back reinforces this: "...it is accepted at state cashiers in lieu of cash even before due date...". An 1870 law provides for their issueance. The 100 and 1000 forint certificate was issued from 1871 to 1879 according to the partial printed date. The 25000 korona interest bearing certificate has no date printed on it but they were issued before 1918, the end of world war one, perhaps around 1914, when it was worth investing such sum for 3 months. Több adat kell ezekről a kamatos pénztári-jegyekről (Kassen-Schein). Miért nem láttam idáig mást mint nullás sorszámot? Vagy egyet kitöltve?
Bankjegy katalógusokban nem találtam információt róluk pedig lehetséges volt névérték szerint készpénzként használni az előoldal szövege szerint: "...állampénztár ezen jegy előmutatójának fizet..." , tehát bárkinek aki előmutatta kifizették a névértékét az esedékes kamattal együtt. A hátoldal megerősíti: "...állampénztáraknál lejárta előtt is elfogadtatik készpénz helyett...". Egy 1870-es törvénycikk engedélyete kiadását. A 100 és 1000 forintos pénztári-jegy kiadása a részleges nyomtatott dátum szerint 1871-től 1879-ig terjedt. A 25000 koronás pénztári-jegyen nincs évszám, de valamikor 1918, az első világháború vége előtt, talán 1914 körül volt érdemes lekötni ekkora összeget 3 hónapra. Ha van bármi információd, írj itt!
